Overview

Definitions

• "J2C," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the company operating the Service.
• "User," "you," and "your" refer to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
• "Content" refers to any information, data, text, images, or other material uploaded to or displayed on the Service.
• "Builder Company" refers to construction companies that manage projects on the Service.
• "Contractor Company" refers to companies that provide contracting services on projects.
• "Unit Owner" refers to individuals who own or represent the owners of units within projects.

User Access and Account Registration

Eligibility

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws

Account Registration

• You must register for an account to use the Service
• You may register using email and password or through supported social accounts (Google or Apple)
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Account Types

• System Roles: Super Admin, System Admin, Generic
• Company Roles: Builder/Admin, Builder/Project Manager, Builder/Site Supervisor, Builder/Account Payable, Builder/Generic, Contractor/Admin, Contractor/Basic, Contractor/Worker, Contractor/Generic
• Project Roles: Unit Owner

User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Acceptable Use

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other software to access the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code

Content Standards

• Be accurate and complete
• Not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Not be defamatory, obscene, offensive, or harmful
• Not contain any malicious code or attempt to interfere with the Service's operation

Data Usage and Privacy

Data Collection

User Content

• You retain all ownership rights to Content you submit to the Service
• By submitting Content, you grant J2C a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service
• You are solely responsible for the Content you submit
• We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable

Intellectual Property Rights

• The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by J2C and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or transmit any material from the Service without prior written consent

Project-Specific Terms

Project Creation and Management

• Builder Companies may create and manage projects on the Service
• Projects will remain visible to relevant parties even if marked as inactive
• Project data, including deficiencies, invoices, and documents, will be retained according to our data retention policies

Invoicing and Payments

• Contractors may submit invoices through the Service
• J2C is not responsible for the accuracy of invoice information or payment processing between parties
• Users must verify all financial information before processing payments

Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• J2C disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• J2C shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service
• In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the 12 months prior to the claim

Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason without notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability

Modifications to the Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Service
• Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute your acceptance of the new Terms
• If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service
